Hello March; Hello Anticipation - #SLICE 2013 1/31

Hello March!
31 Days; So many possibilities.
3 weeks of school; 1 week of spring break.
Gone in a flash.

Hello March!
Another birthday will come and go.
One year older - thinking about what will happen
in the year to come.

Hello March!
The last full month before our family shifts,
going from two to three girls.

Hello March!
Hello Anticipation!
So much to come;
so much to look forward to

And yet, I want to make sure to
s  l  o  w    d  o  w  n
and savor - enjoying the present
while looking forward to all that will come
as the days flip by.

  4. Can't wait to read your slices. You are at the point of in-between and it will be fun to document.
    Happy writing,

  5. A month. It can seem like such a long or short amount of time, depending on what we are anticipating, and it looks like you have a lot ahead of you in one short month. What a wonderful month to be documenting, like a scrapbook as your family embarks and continues on its journey through life. I admire your decision to write a poem, as it is not my "go-to" genre, perhaps a personal challenge this month.

I look forward to reading more of your work this month - take care!

    1. Nicole,

It's also not my "go-to" genre either, but I have noticed that through the slicing community I have been inspired to try it out a little bit more. That's one of the many things I love about slicing!

  7. Thanks for the oversight and adding my URL to yesterday's post! I was semi-exhausted from trying to remember how to set up a new blog, then how to link to the challenge. So fun to be writing with you again.
