Peppermint Tea and Peace

I sit in the quiet of my room, typing away at my desk, having just finished a mug of peppermint tea that my husband made for me. The perfect way to warm my hand, soothe my sore throat and relax at the end of the day.

Today is a big day...
back to school after a long weekend
the start of the third quarter -
a fresh start for students
the final full quarter of the year for me

the start of my third trimester -
belly growing,
anticipation building,
wanting to savor these last months,
in my classroom and with family,
the first time my girls have been old enough
to really enjoy the anticipation
Today is a big day...

  1. The power of 3: three day weekend to start the third quarter and your third trimester with your third baby (maybe third baby girl?). Today is a big day! Continue to enjoy each moment -- or at least every third moment because I know the baby starts sucking those brain cells! What an exciting time for you and your family!

      I had noticed the 3rd quarter, 3rd trimester, but I wasn't thinking of all the other 3s! It was fun to have that realization through your comment. Yes, according to the ultrasound (and my hunch that I will probably always have girls) we are expecting a 3rd baby girl.
